The given category of tires is especially produced for installation on commercial light trucks, microbuses and vans. The purpose of the light truck tires distinguishes itself from light motor car rubber tires, therefore technical specifications of these products have their own distinctive features, manifested in the tire ability to cope with heavy loads and to show perfect linking features while in operation with and without any loads at the same time.
Each characteristic feature of light truck tires is essential; the characteristics make the tire more durable and influence its service life in general. The operational lifetime of rubber for the light commercial vehicles as well as other tire types depends not only on the item quality in many respects, but also on their maintenance in due time. The keeping of optimum tire pressure extends the tire service life.
In a greater degree, the light truck rubber tires are closer to the cargo tire segment according to their characteristics, despite the similarity of dimension types with the dimensional range of products in the segment of light motor car tires. Furthermore, light truck tires have an increased wear resistance and this is a very significant feature among all others. It is possible to estimate the purpose of light truck tires according to their tread and speed rating. We recommend models with high speed indexes for passenger microbuses, because they have a lot of elements in the tread composition, which are used when modeling tires for light passenger cars. To carry cargo, the items with low speed rating are used. They can withstand heavy loads and, as a rule, their tread is very simple, but rough enough.
The light truck tire rubber has seasonality along with all other rubber types. According to the degree of rubber stiffness and tread pattern, the products are divided into all-season, summer and winter tires (friction and studded tires). The noncompliance of light truck tires with the season increases the risk of a motor vehicle crush. The all-season products are recommended for installation under environmentally sound conditions; rapid changes of temperature are not allowed in this period of time. The summer tires are manufactured from a rubber compound, which differs from the rubber intended for winter tire production according to its composition. It is better to use spiked tires in case if you are going to make frequent trips on snow and ice-covered roads in the course of the transport vehicle operation. When going on clean asphalt coating, friction rubber is much preferable in winter season. ,
